C4T#2, Post 1

I was assigned Moving Beyond the Personal Narrative for my C4T#2 post 1. It talks about how writing a personal narrative is one of the first things we learn to do in school. It also says that using your imagination doesn't come up until the third grade. We as teachers should push the art of story telling beyond this. Also, tips are given to think beyond the personal narrative.

Below is a summary of my comment I left on this post:

I was assigned iTunes U Courses on Innovation and Common Core for my C4T#2 post 2. In the two links he provided, he discusses several topics under each link. He also posted assignments under each topic under the links. In "Technology and the Common Core", he discusses how technology should be used in the schools and how the instructors should help and not hurt the students when they are doing research. He also list three major ways to address Common Core Standards. In "Innovation & Communication" he talks about movements, tips, how to start movements, technology, communities to join, ways to incorporate technology, and apps to help succeed.
